Gabriel Faro is a Brazilian drummer, composer and educator. He began studying drums at the age of 6 and began his professional career at 14;

He began his studies in musical composition at the Federal University of Pelotas in 2016 and since then he has also worked in the area of soundtrack composition. In 2023 he began his master's degree in Sound and Image - Sound Design at the Portuguese Catholic University - Porto Regional Center;

As a composer and drummer, he released two digital EPs, titled VII (2019) and Mater Et Filius (2020) , and the singles Misrule Corruit (2021) , Sounds of Love (2022) and Sections, feat. Hanysz (2023) ;

As a performer, he has participated in works for artists such as Brenda Lazarroto (BRA), Vincent JAQC (FRA), James Zero (USA), Alfredo Ovalles (AUS), Force Major Music (USA), Rafael Velloso (BR) and Lina Saroza ( USA) ;

As a teacher and educator, he teaches online and in-person classes at the Atelier de Percussão do Porto (Portugal). He also teaches in workshops, having already been invited to give drum clinics in Portugal at the Porto Drum Show 2023, Academia de Música de São João da Madeira, Conservatório de Música de Águeda, Atelier de Percussão de Santa Maria da Feira, and in Brazil at Instituto Musical Arts (BR) and in the Bloco (BR) workshop cycle.

Since 2020, he has been posting videos weekly on social media, mainly Instagram. He promotes his work with short videos where he plays his own compositions and covers, as well as demonstrating exercises on the instrument. Today he has more than 100 thousand followers and his work has been recognized by world-renowned drummers and musicians.
